Sleepless in Shanghai

This is a story that has yet to be told. Throughout our trip, Justin has been staying involved in the US stock markets. In particular, investing in Chinese small caps that are traded in the US. Because of the time difference, he's had to stay up all hours of the night 5 days a week to keep informed and involved. So far, China has been the most extreme as the time difference here is 12 hours from NYC. In retrospect, waking up at 3am in Fiji to see the markets open probably sounds pretty good. Week after week though, Justin has stayed awake at night, working. Much coffee has been consumed during these long nights. And almost without complaint he has slept just 3-4 hours and then let me rouse him to be dragged off on yet another "adventure". I have yet to sing his praises, but he definitely deserves them here. I think my personal favorite memory of him on one of these exhausting nights is one from the campervan. I awoke at about 3am, the wind was howling outside and it was bone-chilling cold. I peered outside and there sat Justin with his laptop on our little pop-up table, drinking terrible instant coffee, working away in the pitch black, lonely, cold, and blustering night. I could not believe it. Country after country he has set up shop and continued working, through fatigue, uncomfortable surroundings, crashing computers and more, he has found a way. Kudos to you, love. And thank you.
