A dangerous cyclone is headed for Taveuni and it's north shore where we stayed is predicted to be a direct hit. Keep the Fijians in your thoughts, many of them have shelter that will likely not survive the winds. We are hoping they find shelter for the storm, at the very least. Elle is worried about Sonia and her family and we are thinking of all the wonderful people we met (and even of the ones who weren't so wonderful).
Taveuni has not had a direct hit by cyclone in over a decade, we asked when we were there... and it's awful to think of what a direct hit by a cat 4 will do to them.

Oh I hope not we have had enough devasation worldwide to last bunches of lifetimes.
