Crocs!

Wallaby

Cassowary

Baby Croc

Today we visited Hartley's Crocodile park and were thrilled to see the enormous crocodiles. One of us even ate crocodile. Here's a hint, it wasn't Elle;)
We got the chance to get up close and personal with koalas, crocs, wallabies, cassowarys, snakes and more. Cassowarys are large, flightless birds that are indigenous to Australia, and are now endangered. Elle and I loved the cuddly koalas and super-friendly wallabies, while Justin and Liam were equally enthralled by the crocs.
We are here in their off-season and it's great because we had the park nearly to ourselves. The guides were fantastic at teaching us about the animals, answering all our questions and telling us great stories as well. They quite obviously love their jobs.
